Dr Despina Mavromati was among the faculty of the inaugural CAS Summer Academy, organised by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) from 6 to 10 July 2026.
The new educational programme provides students and legal practitioners from around the world with a practical introduction to sports arbitration, combining insights from CAS arbitrators and senior CAS counsel across the principal areas of sports dispute resolution.
On 7 July, Dr Despina Mavromati taught the Sports Arbitration module together with Antonio de Quesada, CAS Head of Arbitration Services, addressing the distinctive features of arbitration before the CAS and key aspects of CAS practice and procedure.
